Pressed from the peel of a small, loose-skinned citrus fruit, mandarin oil smells sweet, juicy and gentler than lemon or grapefruit. In a composition it softens the sharper citrus notes and adds a rounded, sunny sweetness to the top. It pairs well with neroli, musk and light woods, which keep the fruit from feeling too plain.
